Details:
thursday 21 September 2023
Ellen Melville Centre - Pioneer Women's Hall (upstairs)
6pm - 8pm doors open 5.30pm
We have held these before and the format remains similar:
c2 minutes introduction by each candidate
questions to each candidate
Quick fire round (yes/no sort of thing) interspersed
Questions from Public at end, if time
Refreshments and opportunity for candidate to mix and mingle
We won't be accepting banners/placards or posters etc in the room but candidates may bring promo material like flyers for putting on chairs, or on a table that we will have.
As always CCRG have a particularly city centre focus - things that effect residents here. City centre residents are sometimes over looked or diminished in the political sphere, so this is a good opportunity to provide public access to candidates wishing to represent us, to explain positions and philosophies, especially relating to residents in the city centre.
The General Election date is Saturday 14 October
